NISSO-PB is an original liquid polybutadiene independently developed by Nippon Soda Co., Ltd., derived by polymerizing butadiene using a living anionic polymerization technique. Because the polymer structure is composed of carbon and hydrogen, it has superior water resistance, chemical resistance, electrical characteristics, mechanical strength, and heat resistance. NISSO-PB has a high affinity for olefin resins and by utilizing its high activity for curing, it can be used in a wide variety of products, such as paints, adhesives, molding agents, and elastomers. It also has a high 1,2-vinyl content and high reactivity and excellent storage stability.
