In the Chemicals category, sales increased from the previous year due to price adjustments that accompanied the sudden price jump in the cost of raw materials and fuel such as caustic soda and caustic potash, etc.
In the Dye Stuff Chemicals category, sales decreased year on year mainly due to a decrease in sales of developer for export.
Sales of the feed additive DL-Methionine saw an increase from the previous year due to a marked increase in selling price for export.
In the Specialty Chemicals Products category, sales decreased mainly for the automotive and IT industries from the previous year.
In the Eco-business category, exports of the water treatment agent “Nisso Hi-Chlon” and sales of slime remover decreased. As a result, sales in this category decreased from the previous year.
In the Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Intermediates category, despite an increase in sales of the pharmaceutical intermediate DAMN, and the pharmaceutical additive HPC, there was a fall in sales of the pharmaceutical intermediate AOSA. As a result, sales in this category decreased from the previous year.
In the system to treat PCBs by dechlorination, sales decreased due to a decrease in sales of treatment equipment from the previous year.



Agro Products Division

Domestically, sales increased from the previous year mainly owing to an increase in sales of “TOPSIN-M” and “Befran,” despite a decline in sales of “PHOENIX.”
Sales for exports increased from the previous year because of a rise in sales of the herbicides “Clethodim” and fungicide “TOPSIN-M.”
Sales of fungicide for industrial use decreased from the previous year due to negative impact by the recession in the construction field.



Transportation, Warehousing, Construction, Non-Ferrous Metals and others

Being negatively impacted by factors such as the deterioration of the economy and the depreciation of zinc quotations, sales centered around the Non-ferrous Metals and Others category produced a decrease in revenue compared to the previous term.
